Ode: The Brain

Brain

Oh brain, oh brain

you are, so insane

with all the knowledge that you hold

It’s hard to keep track of what you’ve been told.

You are very helpful all of the time

And also help me to do this rhyme.

You take notes and register all of my thoughts

Of all the different kind of sorts

You throw away the ones that are useless

Like bad ones and sad ones that are kind of ruthless

But when my feelings are feeling bad

You help me think of my mum and dad.

You are so thoughtful and help me think

for very brain needs a lot of ink

to write down all of your memories

such as dogs and frogs and documentaries  

Oh brain, oh brain

Without you it would be like a drain

all my thoughts would go inside my head

then leak out everything that is said

I thank you so much for all that you do

Especially when you help me review.

you are so amazing, lovely and not thick

And if I got to choose you would be the first one I'd pick.
