Narrative Writing

For term 4 Room 12B have been learning about narrative writing. For narrative writing we have wrote about four different topics. We have been writing down our own examples for narrative writing  and have basically been writing a portfolio of narrative writing. For some of our examples, for narrative writing, We watched a video and either described the characters or changed the ending of the video. This narrative writing piece is a quick and short narrative writing example. There are 6 sentences, the 1st sentence begins with 'Once upon a time' and introduces the main character. The second sentence describes where the character lived. The third sentence describes the character's special talent. The fourth sentence describes the character's problem. The fifth sentence tells why the character felt that way. The final sentence tells how the character solved the problem. Here is what I wrote:
Quick Write Narrative
1
Once a upon a time Jack, an outlander, was farming his grain.
2
He lived out West in a dirty stink’n ants hole.
3
Jack had an amazing memory but when he was sad he couldn't remember anything.
4
Whenever Jack woke up he was always getting chewed and eaten off by ants.
5
When Jack ran away he always wanted to go back to his mother but had forgotten the way back.
6
Suddenly he had a burst of happiness and remembered so he set off for the last time...
