P.E.: Cross-Country Training

At the end of Term 2 The year 7 Sheppard have been going on training runs. The year 7 Sheppard have been doing different courses. One of them was running 3 laps around the field. The first time we did the course I got a time of... 5 minutes and 38 seconds then improved and got 5 minutes 25 seconds. After that I got 5 minutes 30 seconds. The next course was around Guthrie Brookvale Woodlands X2 which took 11 minutes and 36 seconds. The next time we ran I got a time of 12 minutes. When I ran again I got 12 minutes exactly the same.
I'm really looking forward to walking or running the proper cross-country course. We still have another 2 and a half weeks of training left til the real cross country.
Today Room 12B walked the Cross-Country course. The course was a bit shorter than expected and would have liked it to be a bit longer. We started at the rugby goal post near the houses. We then went around the block to the left after crossing the bridge and carried on to the left and went through a reserve. We then turned right and went up through the reserve. We then went down the steps into the forest and crossed a lot of bridges. We then went up the stairs and turned right when we reached the road. We went down the straight and turned left. Some of Room 12B sprinted off and the finish was just past the first basketball court.
