Havelock North Library Time
Today I have been to the library with the rest of my class. We walked down to the library and visited Lynette who talked to us about the Library and how it worked.
What did you enjoy?: I enjoyed walking down to the library in the morning because we got to be out and have some fresh air while walking through town.
Lynette talked to us about some websites for kids doing homework or in search of information. The websites are called: Any Questions? and: Any Answers. I also enjoyed searching for the book in the series I am reading (Necropolis).
What did you learn?: I learnt how everything works because when I go to the library I might want to know how to get out a book. Lynette also told us about the computer and how to search the names of books and authors up and how to find them. Also in the dewy decimal system.
What do you want to do now?: I would like to go to the library more often because now I can actually return, get out and search for books. Also the library is a nice place to read a book and I enjoy reading books!
